Bradley’s Country Store Fun Day For The Whole Family
Today is the Annual Family Fun Day at historic Bradley’s Country Store. Fresh Sausage, Smoked links, bulk fresh sausage, all the fixins to go along with it including stone ground grits milled right on the property, jams, jellies, and even old fashioned candies and bottled colas are specialties available here.
I grew up not far from the store. For me and my family, this is tradition that is close to home, a part of growing up in Tallahassee that brings back fond memories of a family much like our own and a lifetime friendship. Mom works in the store part-time to this day, and our friends, the Bradley family remain a part of our lives.
Each year, the music is great, children dancing, cloggers entertain every age visitors and vendors come from the Southeast selling handmade and artisan goods on the grounds surrounding the country store. Thousands will arrive, feast on sausage dogs, curly fries, baked goods and sample sausage, hogs-head cheese, chitlin’s and more! The fun day as been a tradition now for over 30 years!
