Today, I will roam the hills east of Tallahassee in Jefferson County. Monticello, Florida is the heart of the county. Historic buildings such as the Monticello Opera House, and many century old homes line the streets among the moss covered lawns near downtown Monticello. Further away form the Courthouse Circle expansive farms and beautiful pastures are home to many horse-lovers and fine equestrian facilities.
