there is positive movement towards energy consciousness in Tallahassee, Florida. Today, citizens and businesses alike are thinking “Green,” building green to save green! Residents have created and are solving some of their own utility issues.
From my first daughter’s orientation, and each one after that, I saw a need at that orientation for a local face, a local smile and a local contact to be made between other local parents and the many, many parents who were sending their children to one of the countries largest universities.
Realtors have had to get very creative in promoting open houses. Traditional means of signs and flyers are just not enough in today’s world. Postcards and print advertising are expensive and less productive than ever. Realtors have largely turned to the Internet to reach more people and to exposure your listing to many more people than ever before. Conversations generated around social media postings, special events are proving to bring buyers to homes and to cause people to inquire about homes than ever before.

I couldn’t help but thinking that a renter might consider this… a 203K renovation loan to purchase a distressed property could save them thousands,.. and double their investment value in 7 years AND enjoy a tax savings of $15,947. The time to purchase a home is right.
So, how do people find homes these days? I’m asking both Realtors and consumers. Where do you go to search for homes. Is all of this preparation for open houses a waste of time? What do you think?
Red Hills Horse Trials began yesterday, March 10th and runs through Sunday, March 13, 2011. Competitive riders from 11 countries and 28 States are in attendance and will compete in events such as dressage performances and cross-country races. Red Hills kicks off the Adequan USEA Gold Cup series, one of eight prestigious events in the United States East Coast World Cup Qualifier 2011 competition.
This year, we will repeat the event only on a larger scale. Seven featured homes for sale in Myers Park, Tallahassee, FL will be open for tours and works from over 20 artists will be on display, many represented by the artists themselves. Works by Missionary Mary Proctor, Lucas Vansickle, Sandy Proctor, and more will be showcased.
