Grand Opening Celebration At The New 5th Avenue Park

A great celebration attracted hundreds as the 5th Avenue Park opened to celebrate the development of another venue designed to host neighborhood parties, City events, bands and entertainment venues. On well-connected transportation routes and within walking distance of nearby neighborhoods such as Lafayette Park, Sunniland, Glendale, Glenview, Los Robles, Lake Ella and more, Midtown is designed for foot traffic and ease of access and multi-purpose use for all ages. It’s especially appealing to the 25-35 year olds who enjoy the nightlife and pubs along the commercial zones.

A product of the city of Tallahassee’s Placemaking Efforts, Midtown is attractive to small businesses and centrally located companies that do business downtown or near the Capitol. The Midtown Merchants Association had a huge part in alignment of area businesses and local neighborhoods to work together to create the vision for the 5th Avenue park and the development concept for the Midtown Tallahassee area as a place where business meets community.
