World Ballet of Tallahassee, Florida is pleased to announce Dining at the Square, to be staged at Market Square Pavilion off Timberlane Road. Proceeds from this event will go to support World Ballet’s educational programs and performances. Join World Ballet on Saturday, September 29th at 6:00 p.m. for a delightful evening under the stars with your friends, family, colleagues, clients….. The possibilities are endless, whether you are entertaining for business, pleasure or both.
Think of each table at Dining at the Square as your blank stage. Decorate a table, dine in an elegant or simple fashion while bidding on the silent auction items. Enjoy the live performances of World Ballet dancers and guests while viewing the designs of others. Cater or create your own dishes to complete your theme. Costumes are encouraged. The more creative, the better ! Decorate your area with food from your restaurant, merchandise promoting your shop, or art from your own design, and be sure to include a tablecloth and table setting.
A panel of local celebrities will serve as judges to award prizes in a variety of categories, including Most Original, Most Elegant, Best T.V. or Movie Theme, Most Colorful, etc. Five-foot round table with eight chairs will be provided. All proceeds will benefit World Ballet, Inc., a 501(c) 3 organization.
Do not miss this opportunity for fun, socializing and creativity in one of the most exciting social events of the fall season. Purchase your table early to choose the best location. Deadline to purchase a table(s) is Monday, September 17 at 5:00 p.m. Checks for $195.00 should be made payable to World Ballet and mailed to 2518 Cathay Court, Tallahassee, FL 32308.
