Leon County Housing Stats Show Signs of Improvement In 2013

Leon County’s housing market is certainly on the rebound.  The yearly statistics below show that we’ve had the highest number of sales in 5 years!  The charts also show that the median price of a home sold has increased while the average number of days it took to sell a home decreased significantly.  These statistics all point to a much improved housing market.

What’s Selling In Leon County?

The charts below show that 56% of all detached single family homes sold in Leon County in 2013 were located in the northeast quadrant.  Additionally, they show that 70 percent of the homes sold in Leon County were under $250,000!  What’s HOT?  Homes priced under $250,000 in the northeast quadrant of Leon County.
