Dedicated to the City of Tallahassee, this is a great spot for quiet enjoyment in daylight and at dark! The park was donated to the City in 1985 by Wllliam J. Oven Jr. in honor of his wife, Dorothy B. Oven. The gardens are beautiful The now historic home, built in 1936, can be rented along with the full gournds and gazebo for seminars, weddings and other special events. Near the Christmas holiday,.. it’s a spectacular display of lights and music and a popular site to bring the whole family.
